The Packing List

Everything your cat needs, and nothing they don't

The essentials keep your cat healthy and on routine, and a few comforts from home help them settle in faster.

The essentials

  • Your cat's usual food for every day of the stay, plus two extra days
  • Any treats they get at home
  • Medications in their original containers, with written dosing instructions
  • Vaccination records showing current rabies and FVRCP
  • Your regular vet's name and phone number
  • Your emergency contact and emergency care preferences
  • A secure, latched carrier, labeled with your name and phone number

Comforts from home

  • Their bed or a favorite blanket
  • An unwashed T-shirt or pillowcase that smells like you
  • One or two favorite toys
  • Their usual litter, if your cat is picky about it
  • A note about their quirks: favorite spots, chin scratches, things they dislike

Check-In Day

A calm start to the stay

  • Pack the night before so the morning stays quiet. Cats notice suitcases and rushing.
  • Leave the carrier out for a day or two beforehand, with a blanket inside, so it feels familiar.
  • Keep breakfast light if your cat tends to get carsick.
  • Plan for a short handoff. We'll go over the routine together, then let your cat explore their suite in peace.
  • Short on time? Add the Feline Travel Concierge and we'll collect your cat and their bags from your door.

Rates

How our rates work

Every stay is a little different, so we quote each one personally. Your rate depends on:

  • The length of the stay, from a single day of daycare to an extended vacation
  • How many cats are coming. Siblings sharing a suite get a lower rate for each additional cat
  • Add-ons, such as the Feline Travel Concierge, which is priced by distance

Send your dates through the booking form or call or text (540) 412-8436, and we'll reply within a day with availability and your rate.

Good to Know

Packing & rate questions

How much food should I pack?

Your cat's usual food for every day of the stay, plus two extra days in case your plans change. Sudden food changes can upset a cat's stomach, so please don't switch brands right before the stay.

Should I bring my cat's litter?

If your cat is picky about litter, yes. Cats settle in faster with the litter they know.

What paperwork do I need?

Vaccination records showing current rabies and FVRCP, written instructions for any medication, your vet's name and phone number, and your emergency contact and care preferences.

Do I need to bring a carrier?

Yes. Please bring your cat in a secure, latched carrier labeled with your name and phone number.

Do siblings get a lower rate?

Yes. Cats from the same household who share a suite are charged a lower rate for each additional cat.

Is the Feline Travel Concierge included?

No. The concierge is a paid add-on in every area we serve, priced by distance.
