No barking down the hall and no dogs, ever. The Belvedere is arranged around how cats actually feel safe: their own room, their own view, and a person who knows them by name.

The Suites
Every guest has a private, themed suite
Four private suites and no cages. Each room has its own theme, cozy bedding and hiding spots, with sight lines out to the garden. Every guest also has time to roam the house on their own terms, so no cat spends the day shut in a room.
The Study
Deep blue walls, tartan panels, moss velvet curtains and brass lamplight make this our quietest room, set aside for cats who need calm or like to tuck themselves away. Fewer comings and goings, plenty of places to hide, and no one rushing them to come out.
Views to the garden & a catio
Windows look out over the garden, with bird feeders right at the glass for the watchers. Cats who want fresh air can spend time in the enclosed catio, safely outdoors.

All cats are welcome here, especially the shy, the particular, and the ones who don't do roommates.
Confident lap cats, curious explorers, kittens and seniors all have a suite at the Belvedere. We also have a special touch with cats other places struggle with: nervous cats, cats who hide, and cats who don't get along with other cats. Shy cats are never coaxed out before they're ready, and cats who prefer their own company take turns enjoying the house, so no one has to share space they don't want to.
